Educational Objectives

  1. Graduates in MSE shall possess a sound understanding of and be able to apply scientific principles, mathematics and materials science and engineering to solutions of engineering problems that will allow them to be successful in the profession or in pursuing graduate studies.
  2. Graduates in MSE shall be ready-to-work, have technical knowledge, hands-on research experience, and communication skills that will allow them to function individually and as members of interdisciplinary teams and the greater professional community.
  3. Graduates in MSE shall understand the economic, social, environmental and ethical impact of their professional activities and a desire for lifelong learning.
